Sir,
184571 19571
In continuation of letter R. and S.893 of 20th March 1913 (Colonial Office No.6644/13), I am directed by the Secretary of State for India in Council to forward a copy of a telegram from the Government of
India, stating that it would in their opinion be
sufficient if Indian opium were allowed entrance into
Hongkong if in transit to Formosa; and I am to say
that the Marquess of Crewe will be glad if effect
could be given to the offer of the Governor of
Hong Kong.
I have the honour to be, Sir,
Your obedient Servant,
9. W. Holderness
The Under Secretary of State,
Colonial Office.
